St Hilary Church is currently holding an exhibition about ‘Seeing the Stations of the Cross and the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary’ by Adam Drouet, until 31 March.
On Wednesday 23 March at 2pm Adam Drouet will be leading a talk about the exhibition followed by tea and cake in the church.
Christmas Lights 2014
This year the lights will be turned on, on December the 7th. Firstly at 6.00pm at the Memorial Gardens at the end of New Road, then at Relubbus on Badcocks Green at 6.30pm.there may well be some refreshments at both venues, but we hope that the gathering at Relubbus will be even bigger than last year and hopefully there will be mince pies, mulled wine and hot snacks and there is a rumour that we may attempt a few carols too.
Please try to make it as your attendance makes our efforts worth while.
Welcome to IMS Prussia Cove
“Some of my most satisfying musical experiences have been at IMS. The combination of the glorious setting, the close personal friendships that one forms there while living in such close proximity, and the sense of pure musical idealism that has been the chief aim of the seminar since it began, produces a sort of magic that is unique. IMS is an important part of my life and, I believe, an important part of the lives of most people who attend the seminars.” Steven Isserlis, Artistic Director
